5.2.4.4. Premium Increments
Premiums are not prescribed by the OCC. These are negotiated on the exchange. However, OCC does dictate the minimum price variation allowed. For options trading below $3, the minimum price variation is $0.05. Premiums above $3.00 allow a minimum price increment or decrement of $0.10.
