3.1.6.3. Municipal Advisors and Associated Persons Must be Qualified

Municipal advisors or their associated persons may not engage in any municipal advisor activities unless they are qualified by the rules of the SEC. In most cases, an associated person will be qualified as a Municipal Advisor Representative by taking the Series 50, and qualified as a Municipal Advisor Principal by taking the Series 54.
